2 Full time permanent Team Leader Radiotherapy Radiographers – Band 7

Are you a Radiographer looking to extend your practice? Are you looking to develop your career and work in a forward thinking and technically advanced department? If this is you, then why not look to become part of our excellent clinical team at St Luke’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital?

The centre is based in Guildford with a satellite site at the East Surrey Hospital in Redhill. Guildford give easy access to the beautiful North & South Downs Way, is an hour from the coast and has great transport links to the surrounding counties of Berkshire, Hampshire and Sussex. The city offers cultural diversity, is home to the University of Surrey and it is great place to reside and explore.

St Luke’s Cancer Centre is focused on providing excellent patient pathways and patient-centred care. We strive to continuously evolve to reflect the technical advances within Radiotherapy. We will be one of the first UK departments to have a Varian Adaptive Halcyon (ETHOS) to complement our six Varian TrueBeams and 3 CT Scanners. We use MR imaging in treatment planning and further development of PET/CT is underway. Our Radiographers are encouraged to rotate through all areas of the department facilitating their professional and personal growth.

You will also rotate to our satellite centre based in East Surrey Hospital. This will offer you the opportunity to work in a smaller team and broaden your clinical skills with the chance to follow a patient throughout their treatment pathway. This is an excellent opportunity for CPD which is not always achievable in larger departments and establishments.
