Bridlington Primary Care Network (PCN) is looking to recruit a Primary Care Network Manager to support the development of the PCN to deliver excellent outcomes for our patients. The role has been advertised as full time, however the Board will be flexible for the most suitable candidate.

Bridlington PCN contains 6 committed practices with a population of around 41,400 and this role will form an integral part of the PCN leadership team to work alongside the Clinical Director and the PCN Board Members.

The PCN Development Manager will support the Clinical Director and practices at a locality network level to develop and implement service improvement and transformation work aligned to local and national priorities. This includes building on current primary care provision and working proactively with the wider network to ensure we can offer our local population sustainable, proactive, personalised, coordinated and more integrated health and care.

The role entails building effective working relationships across the network area, working closely with the Clinical Director, engaging stakeholders across different organisations and disciplines, coordinating work-streams, projects, tasks and events, and collating and monitoring risks and issues.

This role is central to the local transformation programme of work and as such is subject to change and development over the next 12 months in line with the emerging needs of the service and system locally.

We are looking for someone who has knowledge of working in the NHS, is a team player and able to work independently using initiative and self-motivation. Interpersonal skills are the most important attribute for this role and Bridlington PCN encourages applicants with strong communication skills, with a willingness to develop and work towards any potential weak areas as identified.
