An opportunity has arisen within the Nutrition and Dietetic Service for a part time Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian.

The successful candidate will join our small Paediatric Dietetic Team which provides dietetic services to patients seen within their own home, inpatients on the general paediatric ward and neonatal unit, general outpatient clinics and specialist MDT clinics.

This role will provide a weekly outpatient dietetic clinic covering a variety of clinical conditions (e.g. faltering growth, CMPA, weight management). The post holder will support the management of children and young people who are enterally fed and will be required to support the delivery of dietetic services to the general paediatric ward.

The Nutrition and Dietetic Service which is based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital is made up of 26 staff which includes Dietitians, 2 Assistant Dietitian Practitioners and a Nutrition Support Nurse.

The post holder should:

- Be HCPC registered.

- Have experience working as a dietitian in acute and community settings.

- Have experience of working with children.
