Looking to gain experience within the Acute and Community settings as a Band 5 Dietitian? We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Dietitian for a Band 5 Rotational Post working with our friendly team across The North Derbyshire health community. As a Department our Acute and Community teams work collaboratively to provide seamless care for patients.

You will gain experience working in a variety of different settings on the acute wards of a busy District General Hospital covering areas including Respiratory, Cardiac, Surgery, Medicine and Haematology as well as opportunities to work with specialist Dietitians in areas such as ITU/HDU, Stroke and Oncology.

Within our Community team you will be supported to develop your skills within the Home visit, Care homes, Clinic and Community Hospital settings. There will also be the opportunity for agile working within the community rotation.

Professional Development is encouraged and we provide a supportive preceptorship programme alongside regular structured CPD opportunities. You will join our friendly team of 26 which includes Dietitians, Nutrition Support Nurse, Assistant Dietetic Practitioners, a Dietetic assistant and Admin Support Staff.

You will be a HCPC registered dietitian with hospital and community experience and will be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively fulfil the travel requirements of the post.

Chesterfield is geographically well placed for travelling north or south and provides easy access to the motorway network. Temporary accommodation may be available.
