CALLING NURSES AND MIDWIVES PASSIONATE ABOUT IMPROVING CHILD & FAMILY HEALTH AND MOTIVATED TO STUDY AT UNIVERSITY WHILST LEARNING IN PRACTICE WITHIN WEST SUSSEX AND BRIGHTON & HOVE.

THIS IS AN EXCITING FULLY FUNDED OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY FULL-TIME AT UNDERGRADUATE OR MASTERS LEVELS and to qualify as a registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor).

Starting in September 2020 at the University of Surrey, you will be given a fixed term contract with Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) to undertake a one year full time degree course to complete the BSc/PGDip/MSc Specialist Community Public Health Nurse course (Health Visiting)

Sponsorship will be paid at Band 5 salary up to a maximum mid point of Band 5 (£24,214); no incremental uplift is paid for duration of this training contract.

Successful completion of the course will lead to registration on Part 3 of the NMC register, an NMC recordable qualification, and eligibility to apply for a post as a Health Visitor.

Please note that while the advert specifies Brighton University as the base, clinical placements can be anywhere in the Trust, which covers West Sussex and Brighton and Hove.

Joint interviews with SCFT and University staff will be held on the 5th May 2020 at Horsham Hospital.
