Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire and Sefton area. The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,000 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites.


Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner West Lancs Mindsmatter 37.5 and 22.5hours

Welcoming, Supportive, Caring, chocolate loving and hardworking -- these are just some of the words used to describe the West Lancs Mindsmatter Team. Due to staff progression we currently have vacancies in the team.

We are a flexible service for both staff and those who access the service. We offer a variety of treatment options as one size does not fit all. We deliver workshops, offer telephone and face to face sessions from a range of community settings to help people make positive changes to reduce stress and anxiety and improve their wellbeing. We also have an online provision for those unable or who prefer not to attend appointments.

You should only apply if you hold a recognised Post Graduate Certificate / qualification which demonstrates that you are specifically trained to work as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner OR be toward the end of studying for this qualification, and expect to complete this within 3 months.
