Chesterfield Royal Hospital are looking to recruit Registered Nurses, Return to Practice nurses and Newly Qualified/student Nurses into our Surgical Specialties Division.

We are looking to welcome you to one of three Care Units within our Division where you will have the opportunity to work in one area or build a rotational/development package to enable you to gain a full insight

Surgical Support Services Care Unit

Encompassing Critical Care, Theatres, Pre-assessment and Day Surgery


Integrated Surgical Care Unit

Spanning over several out-patient departments and our two acute surgical wards covering both electives and emergencies.

From 2 December we are also very excited to be launching an 11 bedded Surgical Assessment Unit.

Orthopaedic and Specialist Care Unit

Elective and Trauma Orthopaedics, Short Stay Surgery, Breast Care and Urology.

 

All areas are supported with a senior leadership team, a clinical ward matron and a team of band 6 nurses.

We promote career progression via our onsite education centre, clinical skills team, clinical educators and speciality competency booklets.
