Consultant Radiologists

10 Programmed Activities

Applications are invited for Consultant Radiologists at St Mary’s Hospital on the Isle of Wight to join a team of five.

The Trust is happy to consider flexible working in support of work / life balance. Extended days and compressed hours will be considered as well as weekend sessions.

The ideal candidates will be General Radiologist with a special interest in Musculoskeletal Radiology, Oncology or Cross-Sectional Imaging. However, we are flexible and would not discount or discourage any interested candidate, with a view to developing their specialty interest.

The philosophy of the department is to provide a comprehensive, modern Radiology service including CT, MRI, Plain Radiography, Ultrasound and basic interventional procedures.

The key features of the jobs are:

• No on-call

• 10 PAs per week +1 PA extra by mutual agreement

• The 10 PAs can be compressed into four/ three longer days to help deliver more flexible working patterns and provide a desirable work/ life balance.

• Small friendly dynamic department where you feel valued with high levels of job satisfaction.

•Relocation/retention package is on offer to suitable candidates. Assistance with initial accommodation will also be given.
