Your role

We are looking for a forward thinking Patient Navigator to facilitate and deliver a patient centric experience within Central Administration Team , supporting all other functions in delivering outstanding patient care, utilising a variety of platforms including front of house (reception), back office support functions, telephone and online chat platforms.

Utilising your patient navigation training (provided in house), you will form part of our vibrant central team, affectionately known as The Hub, to provide patient focused telephone and administration services that assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professionals.

You will have exceptional communication skills, experience of using IT systems, work well under pressure and thrive in a high energy environment. Working as part of a team who really care about putting our patients first will be a huge motivator for you.

You will be comfortable with change and have a willingness to work in non-traditional care systems. We offer support with financial management, staffing and recruitment, pensions, medical indemnity and insurance, marketing and communications, human resources, patient safety, business analytics, operational delivery, information governance, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, clinical development and support. Our central support team is based in North Leeds, in the grounds of a working farm, Bank Top Farm.

Where you will be working

Our Central Administration Team, also known as 'The Hub' ,is located within The Light Surgery in central Leeds. It has great public transport links and is a stone’s throw from Leeds General Infirmary and has access to all the benefits of the city centre.
