Qualified Paramedic (Band 6)

£28,050 - £36,644 per annum - plus a percentage of unsocial hours payment dependant on rota and hours worked in line with Section 2 of Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook.

Geographical locations are available predominantly in the South of our service area with the majority of vacancies operating double crewed vehicles or relief rota lines.

It is essential for you to possess a full current driving license, valid in the UK and desirable for it to cover category C1 vehicles. We expect that all applicants have no more than three penalty points on your driving license. Applicants must also have completed two year consolidation of learning programme in an ambulance Trust if they first registered with the HCPC on or after 1st September 2016.

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to demonstrate effective social skills gained from experience with dealing with the public. Blue light driver training is desirable.

You will be joining our team of more than 2,000 staff, who respond to over 360,000 emergency and urgent incidents a year from 60 stations spread across 3,200 miles.
