We are looking for dynamic people to join our communications and engagement team, working across the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and the Integrated Care System (ICS) in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

It is an exciting time to work in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. We are one of the first Integrated Care Systems in the country, meaning that all our health and care organisations are working together toward a shared vision – to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities for our population. Our Clinical Commissioning Groups are merging, bringing six organisations together to create a single, strategic commissioner. We have strong connections to our local places and neighbourhoods through our Integrated Care Partnerships (ICPs) and Primary Care Networks (PCNs).

We are recruiting to a number of posts within our new communications and engagement team. Our central team supports the ICS and CCGs in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, leading on all aspects of communications and engagement.

We are currently seeking:

  • 2 X Engagement Officers
  • 2 X Communications Officers
  • Digital Communications Officer
  • Engagement Assistant

Communication Officers x 2

  • We are looking for two excellent all-round communicators who can contribute to the development of internal and external communications strategies, put together tactical implementation plans to ensure strategic objectives are achieved, and then deliver creative and targeted internal and external communications campaigns.
  • Working as part of the communications and engagement team, the two communications officers will be responsible for delivering a range of communications plans, making sure all those with a stake in health and social care are well-informed, involved and engaged.
  • The communications officers will work with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders, including staff, media, GPs and other communication teams within the ICS. You will produce staff and stakeholder briefings, press statements and some social and digital content with the end aim of raising awareness of our organisational priorities and increasing engagement with our GP membership and wider stakeholders.
  • Ideally, you will have experience of internal communications in the context of supporting organisational change and an understanding of how internal communications contributes to supporting successful transformation.
  • If you are an excellent copywriter with media experience and the ability to turn your hand to wide range of written communications, professional publications and colourful multi-media campaigns we want to hear from you!
