Specialty Doctor - Barnsley Integrated Sexual Health Service

This specialty doctor post will provide direct clinical care within a fully integrated sexual health clinic. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic colleague with prior experience in the specialty who will work well as part of our multidisciplinary team. The post holder will support the clinical team in delivering high quality sexual healthcare, both for contraception and management of sexually transmitted infections, and will need to be able to work independently.

Where the post holder does not have letters of competence for intrauterine contraception and implant insertion it will be anticipated that these will be completed whilst in post. The post holder will be expected to participate in teaching of medical students and training of staff within the department.

This is a part time post (24 hours per week), incorporating evening work.  If you don't feel you meet the critieria completely we would be happy to have a discusison regarding development or training needs.
