Through our national network of specialist facilities, NHSBT is at the cutting edge of transfusion science. Our Red Cell Immunohaematology laboratories provide serological investigations and problem solving for hospital laboratories and clinics... Working to support our scientists and clinicians, you will take responsibility for devising and implementing marketing and sales strategies that connect our specialist  services offering with NHS  and commercial customers. You will manage a system to evaluate commercial prospects, and foster relationships with key customers, always taking scientific, technical, financial and logistical challenges into consideration. With an eye on both short and long-term strategic plans, you will be confident performing research and market analyses. You will ensure strategic growth plans are devised and put into place, and you’ll monitor the effectiveness of your plans. 

With a background in service development, sales or marketing, you will have proven analytical capabilities and the solid scientific background required to maintain credible relationships across the transfusion industry. You’ll have excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy the challenge of a demanding workload, managing multiple projects competing for your attention.
