Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

An opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and experienced nurses to join the immunisation team, supporting the school nursing service in Cardiff and Vale to deliver a school based vaccination programme. You will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of flu and other vaccinations/screening programme delivered in schools.

 

The posts are term-time, fixed term being peripatetic to ensure that the service is flexible and adaptable to meet need.

 

The service will work alongside school nursing colleagues.
You will need to be able to travel to schools and UHB bases in a timely and efficient manner.

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
