You’ll play a key role in saving lives as you ensure we work to the highest quality assurance standards. You will work with a specific project team implementing the requirements of the Medical Device Regulations across the organisation. It’s a chance to develop innovative solutions to advance our Quality Management System.

 

Masters level qualified or equivalent, you will have at least three years’ experience in a Quality Assurance environment. You should also have a working knowledge of relevant standards EC guide to GMP and extensive knowledge of the regulatory environment in which we work. Excellent influencing and communication skills, together with evidence of strong management and leadership abilities and the ability to problem solve in a setting of changing systems and requirements. Above all, you’ll have the drive and determination to take ownership and resolve complex issues to ensure our quality systems are the best that they can be.

 

Our dedicated team collects, tests, stores and delivers blood, plasma and tissue to every NHS Trust in England as well as matching, allocating and analysing organ donations UK wide. As an essential service, we’re committed to positive transformation and are currently embarking on an ambitious programme of change.

 

The successful candidate would provide support across England. From experience of other similar posts, the successful candidate could expect to be away from base on average for about half of their working time. They could be based, by prior agreement, at any of the NHSBT’s National Centres providing office space is available.

This is a Fixed-Term/Secondment opportunity to end July 2022.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
