An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ophthalmology Management Team at The University Hospitals of Leicester. The Ophthalmology department are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, committed and forward thinking individual for the role of Administration Manager within Eye Casualty.

The Eye Casualty (EED) Admin Manager role is the ideal opportunity for an individual who wishes to work in a large fast paced environment that contains both administrative and operational responsibilities.

You will be part of an extended team consisting of a lead Eye Casualty consultant, Eye casualty Fellow, Optometry advanced practitioner, Advanced Nurse practitioner, EED tracker and EED admin team. You will work with the Ophthalmology General and Service Managers, Admin teams to help drive the service transformation and deliver a safe and efficient system.

Applications are particularly invited from those working at band 4 Team Leader level wishing to progress and develop their administration and operational skills in a junior management role

The Administration Manager will support the Service Manager and General Manager to deliver the core operational functions of the Service. This will include the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate management information and reports, RTT validation and analysing performance data.
