DERMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Full time permanent post (10 PAs)

An opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Doctor to join a vibrant, cohesive, forward thinking departmentat HarrogateHospital. This is an exciting time to join the Trust, which is one of the highest performing NHS Trusts in the UK, and has extremely friendly and professional working environment. Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty and which is in close proximity to Leeds and York, Harrogate is an affluent town offering a very high standard of residential accommodation. There is a wide range of local schools which have an excellent national reputation in both the state and private sectors. There are numerous sporting, recreational and cultural activities available in the town and surrounding area to suit most interests.

All applicants must possess MBChB or equivalent. The successful applicant must have 4 years postgraduate experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in Dermatology, including general adult and pediatric dermatology and possess appropriate skills for minor surgery. A diploma in Dermatology is desirable.
