Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to head up our Resourcing Team.

This is a key role for the Trust, leading our recruitment activities to support our services to recruit the staff they need to provide services to our patients.

The role is multifaceted, involving working with a wide range of people to help attract, recruit and get people into roles successfully.

To give you an overview of some of the things the role is responsible for

  • Owning attraction campaigns for the Trust both at an organisational level and to manage the team in delivering individual campaigns to help find the people we need in a tight recruitment market
  • Managing the Resourcing Team to deliver an excellent service to applicants and Trust managers and ensuring that things run to time and are delivered when they should be by the team
  • Reviewing and evolving our processes to ensure they remain friendly to everyone involved and that they deliver what we need them to in an effective way
  • Working with services to ensure that managers stay up to date with current ways of doing things and that their recruitment campaigns are as effective as they can be

You will be a resourcing expert with significant people management experience and great people skills so that you can work with the established team to get the most from them.

You will be able to critically review existing processes, make persuasive cases for change, with the ability to implement and review developments to improve our recruitment services.

The role is based at Bridge Park Plaza, but involves some travel to both internal meetings and different locations to support recruitment events.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

For all substantive roles the appointment of every new member of staff (excluding medical and dental staff) to a post is subject to a 6 month probationary period, details of which are in our Probation Policy.
