Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides a range of community health services for both physical and mental health conditions, as well as a range of specialist services supporting people of all ages including family and young people services, mental health, learning disabilities and physical health community and inpatient services.

360 Assurance is an NHS service, hosted by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, providing internal audit and independent assurance services to NHS clients in South Yorkshire and the East Midlands. We are looking to appoint an experienced manager, who may or may not have experience working within internal audit.

You will work at a senior level within the organisation, supporting the relevant Assistant Director.

The role will see you add value to the NHS by providing evidence-based feedback on current systems and processes and proposing practical recommendations and solutions to support busy NHS organisations as they seek to perform to the highest standards possible.

Positions within 360 Assurance at a Band 8a fall into two categories: Client Manager or Specialist Assurance Manager. We have a current Band 8a vacancy and would like to invite applications from individuals who meet the criteria for either the Client Manager post (with significant experience of Internal Audit) or the Specialist Assurance Manager post (with specialist knowledge and skills in one of our key assurance areas - see attached document for further information).

Candidates applying against the Specialist Assurance Manager job description should have the relevant qualifications, skills and experiences in relation to: Partnership Working (e.g. supporting STP/ICS development); Financial Management; Information Management; Performance & Information; Clinical Quality; People Management or Governance & Risk Management and use of the term ‘specialist area’ within the job description refers to one of these areas.

If this post was filled by an individual meeting the Client Manager job description the post will be based in our Rotherham office. If this post was filled by an individual meeting the Specialist Assurance Manager job description the post could be based in either Rotherham or Nottingham.

Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, as are confidence and self-discipline. Candidates will be required to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients and be able to work on their own as well as part of a team. The candidate will be able to adapt and prioritise as workload requires, and will ensure timely delivery of quality reports.

360 Assurance operates within South Yorkshire and the East Midlands with offices across these areas. Although based at one location, travel across the client base will be expected. You will need to be a car driver to enable travel between NHS and other locations across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire (use of public transport is unlikely to be practical for this post).
