An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated Deputy Team Leader within Trauma Theatres at the Leicester Royal Infirmary (LRI)!

We are looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with the appropriate skills and experience to develop in this role.You will be working within a busy Trauma Theatre team which delivers all aspects of peri-operative care.

We are a busy Operating department with 3 dedicated Trauma theatres; providing surgical procedures for patients with spinal injuries, fractured neck of femur and upper and lower limb surgery.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they have high level organisational skills including time management, and the ability to confidently prioritise and organise clinical and managerial responsibilities . They will also be expected to participate in the effective clinical leadership and management of the team; and be committed to delivering a high quality service to ensure patient care, safety and experience is the best it can be.

We also offer leadership and development courses, learning beyond registration degree modules, and have cultural ambassadors to ensure equal opportunity for all to develop in their careers. Additionally as part of ITAPS clinical management group, we are proud to have developed the band 6/7 development courses; which give all participants the skills and knowledge to develop their careers above that of band 6 if they wish to do so.
