Specialist Pharmacist - Medicines Information - Band 7

If so, we have the ideal opportunity for you to further your personal and professional development. We have an opportunity for a specialist pharmacist at band 7 to join the Medicines Information team at Trent Medicines Information Centre.
Trent Medicines Information Centre undertakes a wide range of local, regional and national activities, ranging from advising on complex patient-related clinical issues to producing evidence-based publications for both primary and secondary care users, supporting patient safety, cost-effective prescribing and medicines optimisation.

Taking a proactive role in promoting safe prescribing and administration of medicines.
Solving problems with medication administration and formulation in specialisms across the Trust.
Provide high-level support to the Medicines Information Service, including enquiry answering and proactive activities, for example provision of a national advisory service on drugs in lactation

You should have gained at least a certificate in a post-graduate diploma in clinical pharmacy and have some experience of working in a Medicines Information Service e.g. at least having undertaken a rotation in Medicines Information as a pre-registration pharmacist.
