Registered Nurse, Endoscopy- band 5, salary between £23,023 to £29,608 ***Relocation Support available***

We are looking for Registered Nurses with acute experience to join Team Endoscopy in their mission to expand their services, which includes growth in exciting areas of Capsule Endoscopy, Enteroscopy, Bowel Screening, GI Endoscopy and GI pre-assessment clinics. Unfortunately, this post is currently not suitable for a newly qualified nurse. The department is proud to have achieved JAG accreditation and runs a busy service from four dedicated procedure rooms. We undertake over 11,000 endoscopies each year and our lists usually run between 8am-6.30pm. We do not currently run night shifts.


If you have not worked in Endoscopy previously, then fear not! Our team can provide a comprehensive internal training for those new to the speciality, providing a 6-9 month programme to gain experience in elective and emergency cases. The department currently run a dedicated training session once a week for all staff to come together to develop their skills. For those who already have experience in Endoscopy, we would encourage a conversation with the senior team within the department to discuss how to best support your career aspirations.


You would be based in our Brunel building at Southmead Hospital Bristol, which has won numerous awards including the Best Designed Large Hospital in the European Healthcare Awards. This is an international award and we were the only hospital in the UK to be shortlisted.
