Medical Device Training Officer- Cross Site, Leicester

An opportunity has arisen in University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust to recruit a motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team or on their own, in order to provide and facilitate essential Medical Device training and support to Clinical staff.

The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is one of the biggest and busiest NHS Trusts in the country, incorporating the Leicester General, Glenfield and Royal Infirmary Hospitals. The Trust is made up of more than 12,000 staff providing a range of services primarily for the one million residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The successful candidate will learn the safe and effective use of a wide variety of medical devices and efficiently distil that knowledge to train clinical staff. The Medical Device Training Officer will demonstrate effective communication and prioritisation skills to support the training delivery, usually near to clinical settings, not in classroom locations; involving occasional evening work.
