Physiotherapist Static Respiratory

37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday, including on-call duties

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Specialist Cardio-Respiratory and Vascular Therapy Team based at the Glenfield Hospital. We offer opportunities in the following specialities Respiratory Medicine, Cardio-Thoracic surgery, Cardiology, Clinical Decisions Unit, Vascular and Intensive Care. The rotations are six months in each speciality. The post holder will benefit from joining a large, integrated Therapy Service with an excellent reputation. You will receive peer support and formal clinical supervision from motivated and experienced clinical specialist staff in addition to a comprehensive induction and appraisal.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Band 5 wanting to develop their respiratory skills or a new band 5 with an interest in respiratory. We are recruiting due to the internal promotion of a current Band 5 Physiotherapy staff.

The post is permanent, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. The successful candidate will be required to work at the weekends and bank holidays and to participate on the emergency respiratory on-call rota.
