We are looking for an experienced nurse to join our team of existing nurse specialists and work with us tofurther develop a nursing service across the wider area. The service will cover the East and Central and North of Bristol and the post holder will be expected to work across the area at various sites, including children centres, schools and clients homes.

Community Children’s Services in Bristol and South Gloucestershire are joined in partnership to deliver holistic care for local children and families through the Community Children’s Health Partnership (CCHP).

We encompass 2 social enterprises, our local mental health trust, our local acute trust and Barnados. We are expanding our family focussed service for children and their families with neurodevelopmental conditions, chiefly ASD and ADHD. Working across multidisciplinary services, you will work with the Community Paediatrics department to design and devise support programmes for local families.

The post holder will provide highly specialist evidence based assessment, treatment and follow up to children and young people with diagnosed ASD and ADHD.

They will be committed to working collaboratively, actively supporting and liaising with other health, social care professionals and other agencies. The post holder will be an expert resource for advice, education and training.
