IAPT Admin Lead - Talking Change is a well-established and high performing Increasing Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) service provided by Solent NHS Trust and commissioned by NHS Portsmouth CCG. The service was launched in 2009 to provide evidence based psychological interventions for the population of Portsmouth in primary care. The service is currently expanding as part of the national early pathfinder pilot site for LTC and aims to improve access for patients with co-morbid psychological and long term physical conditions. As well as having a CBT and Step 2 team Talking Change has an integrated counselling and psychotherapy team as part of the service. The clinical services provided to clients are supported by competent, friendly and efficient Admin team. The service provides a wide range of treatment options such as CBT, EMDR brief counselling, DIT, CfD and IPT. We are looking for a service administrational lead to oversee and manage our admin team and the service wide administrational process. This is a key and exciting role for candidates with particular interest in improving the quality of patients' experience in a vibrant and successful IAPT service. The role is integral in supporting clinicians, ensuring the service is responsive to stake holders and patients are seen quickly and are looked after with care and compassion. The service follows a patient-centred philosophy and this role is considered key in ensuring Talking Change operates in a safe and effective manner and national IAPT wait time targets are met. The candidate should be able to demonstrate good leadership qualities, prioritise the workload, adopt a flexible attitude to the role, show initiative, and have a friendly approach to dealing with staff and visitors to the site.
