Kick start your career in the pharmacy department at University Hospitals of Leicester.

You will be given the opportunity to develop your skills to their full potential whilst working towards a level 2 QCF in Pharmacy Service Skills. You will be provided with the training and support you need to become a Pharmacy Assistant.

You will need to be committed to learning and be highly motivated.

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will be qualified to apply for Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant roles within pharmacy eg Dispensary, Medicine Management Assistant, Clinical Trials, Aseptics etc

Further opportunities to apply for a Level 3 Pharmacy service skills apprenticeship on completion of the level 2

Minimum entry requirements are 5 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above or equivalent including Maths, English and Science

There will be an expectation to work across the three sites of The University hospitals of Leicester and attend one day of college to complete the qualification, you will be part of the pharmacy team providing a quality service to patients.
