An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Ambulatory Surgical Unit (ASU) for a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse. If you are looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity; one that would develop your current skills, this could be for you.

ASU is a fast paced, high volume surgical unit caring for a wide range of patients undergoing plastic and reconstructive, ENT, maxillofacial, Vascular, Gynecology, general surgery and ophthalmology procedures.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and passionate individual with experience supporting colleagues /juniors to assist in the day to day management and leadership of this already effective team.

You will be required to take charge of the team whilst providing direct clinical care and support to our patient group as well as support and leadership to our valued staff. This post is an ideal opportunity to develop clinical, managerial and leadership skills.

As an effective leader and role model you will work flexibly as a member of the ward team. In support of the Ward Sister/ Charge nurse you will work to ensure standards are maintained, evaluated, initiated and where necessary improved.

You will be an effective role model and be involved in helping to develop all aspects of the ward including provision of policies and procedures.

If you are flexible, possess excellent communication and organizational skills and can be receptive to change in a challenging, developing environment then we would welcome your application.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship
