Older Persons Mental Health welcomes newly qualified nurses, general and mental health trained.

We are currently recruiting Band 5 Registered Nurses who are looking to pursue and develop their careers within our Older Persons Mental Health Inpatient services. Whether you are a General Adult or Mental Health nurse, we are looking for qualified nurses or those who are due to qualify in 2020.

You will embark on a challenging yet supportive career with training and career development opportunities. Our enthusiastic and dedicated multi-disciplinary teams work in a purpose built unit in the tranquil grounds of St James Hospital, Portsmouth.

We are the primary provider of inpatient mental health services in Portsmouth, and we are proud to offer a seamless journey for patients, based upon their needs and risks to ensure that care and treatment is assessed and provided in the least restrictive environment. A key factor in our success is the close working relationships between our community and inpatient services, who work together for the benefit of the patient and their family.
