360 Assurance is an ambitious, award winning organisation and our mission is simple: To be nationally recognised as a provider of quality assurance services – our clients being our strongest advocates and our staff our most important assets.

360 Assurance is a provider of specialist internal audit, counter fraud and consultancy services to NHS organisations in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. We are seeking an ambitious and motivated manager to join our South Yorkshire team.

As Specialist Assurance Manager, you will have responsibility for the delivery and management of a range of audits focusing on performance, information and data quality. You will also manage the delivery of the audit plan at one or more clients. You will be required to liaise with officers at all levels within client organisations, up to and including boards. You will have well developed interpersonal skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills, have excellent IT knowledge and be highly motivated.

You will have a track record of working with information, with enhanced technical skills to analyse data, and analytical skills to interpret key messages from complex data sources. You should be CCAB or Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA) qualified, or has experience of operating compliance and quality-checking functions. Your specialist knowledge and expertise should include governance and assurance, a track record of delivering complex audit or project work and have supervisory and management experience.

In return, we offer a professional career with huge variety in the work undertaken, flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to work with NHS organisations at a senior level supporting improvements to the NHS. NHS terms and conditions apply to this post, including the NHS pension scheme.

The post will be based in our Rotherham office, although travel across the whole client base will be expected. For an informal discussion, please contact Andy Mellor, Assistant Director on 07775 007 154.

We are committed to providing the best care that we can to our patients, and so some of our roles involve a Maths and English assessment. Where this is so, details will be shared with you as part of the recruitment process.

Details of our benefits, pledge and other important information about the application process, and working for us is contained in the documents linked to our advert.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

To make the most of your application, we may consider successful applicants for vacancies for the same post in different locations where this is appropriate and meets our mutual requirements.

For all substantive roles the appointment of every new member of staff (excluding medical and dental staff) to a post is subject to a 6 month probationary period, details of which are in our Probation Policy.

We aim to develop a workforce that reflects our service users. To this end we actively implement equal opportunities in employment and service delivery and seek people who share our commitment. We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups, including members of our black and minority ethnic communities. All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.

For all jobs the cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure at the required level will be met by the individual. This will be deducted from salary following commencement.

Requests from applicants to work alternative hours to those advertised may be considered.

Applicants who are currently ‘at risk’ within the local NHS, and meeting essential criteria will be given preference for interview over any other candidates who may apply for this post.
