Here at Solent NHS Trust we pride ourselves on providing a high quality Occupational Health & Wellbeing service for staff working in a range of public and private sector Organisations.

We are seeking the unique skills of an Occupational Health Clinical Nurse Lead who can confidently support, lead and develop a team of Occupational Health Nurse Advisors, Therapists and Wellbeing Practitioners. The ideal candidate will combine the highest clinical skills with a positive and compassionate leadership approach and ensure we deliver the best services to our clients.

This is a varied role and will encompass clinical and managerial components. You will work autonomously, seeing clients and leading and developing the clinical team in all aspects of occupational health service delivery, the full range of duties are described in the Job Description.

This is an exciting time for our service with a rapidly developing portfolio of services on offer to Solent staff and external companies.

Supporting employees to remain in or return to work is a key focus for most organisations. The ability to demonstrate a client centered approach encompassing physical, psychological and social needs and embracing evidence based assessment and innovative approaches for their work, leisure and day to day activities is essential in maximizing people’s wellbeing and potential. The successful person will have the necessary clinical experience, qualifications, interpersonal skills, and personal drive to help shape and deliver our occupational health and wellbeing service now and in the future.

The post offers excellent opportunities to develop inter-professional perspectives and managerial skills that will enhance your future collaborative practice. Your learning needs will be supported by in-house training sessions and programmed learning opportunities. Support and supervision will be available through a network of links within Solent services and external networks with other occupational health services.

The Service covers the Hampshire area and you will therefore need to travel to various locations to work with clients.
