South Western Ambulance Service has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Resourcing Analyst within the Forecasting & Capacity Planning Team.

Resource management is the efficient and effective deployment and allocation of resources. What does that mean? For South Western Ambulance Service this means the planning of staff hours to shifts. It means making sure we have enough staff and enough ambulances working at all times to make sure we can be there whenever and wherever our patients need us. It means saving lives!

The successful applicant will join the Forecasting & Capacity Planning Team, a fast paced, dynamic and progressive department responsible for all facets of Forecasting, Capacity & Demand Planning and Resource Management reporting. They will help lead the development and day to day running of reporting, using SQL, Tableau, Python, Power BI & R to push the scope of F&CP reporting in the Trust.

Applicants must be educated to degree level with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous experience of working in a busy office environment, line managing, excellent problem solving skills and experience working with sensitive data will be essential. Experience using at least one of the following analytical tools; Python, R, Tableau or Power BI will be essential.

Interviews will take place on Friday 9th August.
