Finance Manager - Commissioning

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £37,570 to £43,772 pa

Essential Requirements: Educated to GCSE Standard or equivalent in Mathematics and English. CCAB or CIMA qualified or passed finalist.

Every successful hospital needs a strong finance team and we are seeking an exceptional colleague, with insight and expertise across a broad range of financial services to come and work with us.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Income and Costing Department at Harrogate and District Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a Finance Manager within our busy finance team. This role is an excellent opportunity to progress and gain experience in an ever-changing and challenging environment within a Foundation Trust.

The post holder will take a senior role in supporting the Head of Income and Costing and leading the Commissioning team, including a focus on providing financial support for the Private Patient service within the Trust.

You will be either CCAB or CIMA qualified or have significant and relevant experience within an NHS commissioning role. Ideally you will possess previous NHS experience and a desire to work within a progressive and forward looking organisation.

The ability to collate and interpret complex financial concepts and present information to non-financial managers is essential, as is the ability to motivate and demonstrate initiative. Excellent IT skills (Including Microsoft Access and Excel) and communication skills are also crucial.
