Rotational Community Paediatric Nurse Band 5 – Childrens Community Nursing Team

Solent NHS Trust is working in partnership with Portsmouth Hospital Trust to integrate seamless pathways for children from acute hospital care to community care. As part of this exciting project we are looking for a well-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Rotational Integrated Community Childrens Nurse.

You will deliver all aspects of nursing care to children across a range of acute and community settings. This is a new and exciting post and will be developed tailored to your current and previous skills and experience. The post will rotate in both Portsmouth Hospitals Trust Childrens Departments and Solent NHS Trust Integrated Childrens Community Nursing Service (3 or 6 month rotation to be agreed).

This role will also involve teaching parents, carers and other health professionals as required and supporting students in the working environment.

You need to be motivated, forward thinking and have a sound professional knowledge and excellent communication skills. You should have the ability to prioritise and work both independently and as part of a team.
