Support our leadership team in saving and improving lives

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant who wants to work with a Chief Exec (CEO) or Chair in an amazing organisation who’s ‘everyday’ is saving and improving lives? Do you want to play a part in assisting the CEO and Chair carry out their roles? If so, we are looking for two experienced Executive Assistants: one to support the CEO (full time, 37.5 hours per week) and one to support the Chair (0.6 wte flexible working options are considered i.e. term-time only or 22.5 hours worked over 3 days per week). These are both key roles which involve the organisation of senior-level meetings, including the preparation of data and reports, documents and minutes. You will also manage diaries and workloads, draft papers and carry out other communications activities on behalf of the Chair and CEO. Building trust and productive working relationships with a range of senior-level contacts, including our Executive Team, will be crucial to your success.

Highly organised, with exceptional written and spoken communication skills, you’ll have worked with senior management in a responsible secretarial or administrative role, and will have in-depth knowledge of executive procedures. An advanced user of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you’ll be capable of producing everything from reports to presentations to official minutes. Flexibility is important: you must be ready to undertake national travel and to work outside of normal office hours when necessary, but these roles will largely be based in our Tooting office. Good judgement and initiative are also vital, as you will often have to work independently.
