Do you have experience as a leader in the Equality agenda and are used to working at an operationaland strategic level? This is a high visibility position which requires a self-motivated person whowill lead on the delivery of Diversity and Inclusion Programmes across Solent NHS Trust.

Solent NHS Trust is looking to recruit a high performing Head of Equality and Diversity Lead who will work closleyour Associate Director of EDI to deliver the Diversity and Inclusion agenda for the Trust delivering strategies for inclusion transformation across multiple organisational sites.

You will help develop an environment which our communities can thrive and where patient experience outcomes continually improve. You will need extensive knowledge of engagement and involvement strategies and the ability to receive, interpret and communicate in an accessible way, complex information from a range of sources.

You will be required to actively contribute to the generation of the new evidence related to experience, engagement and involvement, supporting the application into practice of the best available evidence. You will leadin the design, development and delivery of a number of large, complex and high-value projects and programmes with multiple stakeholders. You will also provide education in relation to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, proactively engaging all staff.

You should have an understanding of equalities law and the ability to apply this to design, creative, pragmatic solutions. You will have the ability to quickly gain credibility and forge sound working relationships at all levels.

You will be required to workcross our services in Hampshire.
