Are you a Registered Nurse with experience within an acute health care setting? Are you seeking a position where you can use your initiative to help support change in an Outpatient setting ?

This is an exciting time to join the Fracture Clinic Team.

We are looking for a part time (24 hours) Band 6 to join our Fracture clinic Department team at Kettering General Hospital.

The fracture clinic recently moved to a new space which has been refurbished to the needs of a busy fracture clinic. We have a 4 fracture cubicles and 4 clinic rooms as well as 4 bedded plaster rooms. The fracture clinic sees over 30,000 patients a year

We are looking for a Adult Nurse who processes excellent leadership skills and specialist knowledge.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Day-to-day shift co-coordinator of the Fracture clinic Outpatient area.

• Providing supervision, support and promoting effective communication within the Outpatient team.

• Ensuring patient centred care is delivered by maintaining high standards of care and safety at all times.

• You will assist the Outpatient sister and Matron in monitoring, developing and managing the performance of the team and the service.

• Support the Sister and Outpatient Matron in working towards the strategic and operational development of the department

• Supporting other areas of the Outpatient Department including providing leadership and clinical support as required.

• You will act at all times in accordance with the MNC code and local standards of care and policies

It is also recommended that following your DBS check you subscribe to the DBS update service.

Please note that news starters with KGH are subject to a six month probationary period.
