HR job opportunity in an NHS community trust

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Transactional Administrator to support our fast-paced and growing HR team based at Solent NHS Trust Headquarters in Southampton.

The Solent NHS Trust vision is to provide great care, be a great place to work and deliver great value for money and this role supports this vision through providing professional, customer focused and administrative support to the People Services (HR) function.

Role responsibilities

  • To provide HR administrative service to employee following clearly defined processes in line with defined SLAs

  • Ability to use HR systems (ESR) entering data into relevant systems ensuring data quality- training will be offered

  • To ensure that administrative processes are undertaken in line with policy e.g. right to work

  • To provide accurate and timely transactional responses and communication to our customers

  • To accurately maintain people related data

  • Produce all formal offers of employment and associated contracts in a timely and accurate manner

  • Undertake recruitment checks for successful candidates

  • Supporting the new single point access model alongside managers self service

About you

The ideal candidate will be passionate about people and delivering a high level of customer service.

Candidates should also be pro-active with excellent communication skills. You will work together with the wider People Services teams by building relationships to deliver a high quality service.
