Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust provides a range of community health services for both physical and mental health conditions, as well as a range of specialist services supporting people of all ages including family and young people services, mental health, learning disabilities and physical health community and inpatient services.

We deliver services to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our 5500 staff serve a population of one million from over 100 sites across the region.



Physiotherapist – Band 6 – 37.5 hours/week, Multiple Sites-NWL and City

and Hinckley Based -Band 6 at 22.5 hours/week

The opportunity has arisen for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to become part of an effective team, providing a high standard of clinical care to patients attending the Musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatient physiotherapy department at multiple sites, Hinckley, Coalville and City.

The successful candidates will:

  • Hold a Degree / Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Be registered with the HPC.
  • Have relevant NHS experience either pre or post qualification
  • Have a broad base of knowledge and experience in the field of Physiotherapy.
  • Be able to prioritise and manage their own workload.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have the ability to work sensitively and effectively with patients and their carers.
  • Be able to work well both individually and as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Be able to carry out moderate to intense physical effort throughout the working day.
  • Have evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Be able to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.

The Trust is progressing toward a seven day week working pattern; consequently the post holders must be prepared to work the weekly contracted hours over a 7 day rotation in accordance with the needs of the service.
