Accounts Payable Clerk

In this role you’ll help us to provide a high quality accounts payable service in an increasingly difficult environment as restraints on cash flow across the NHS continue to grow, you will need to have strong communication and influencing skills and be able to deal with confrontational situations and sustain and build relationship with the NHSBT Customers. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the prompt payment of customer invoices to the NHSBT Sales Ledger, reconciling payments and remittances to the sales ledger, generating manual invoices and resolving any queries from customers or budget holders. Working in a timely fashion, you’ll also maintain accurate records and adhere to any standing instructions or procedures.


Educated to GCSE standard Mathematics and English or equivalent, you should also have a substantialcurrentCredit Control experience whilst working in a financial services environment together with facility in related software packages. Confident working as part of a team, you have strong communication skills, an eye for accuracy and the ability to achieve your aims quickly. Flexible and confident working with minimum of supervision.
