General Practice Nurse Training Post

General Practice Nursing provides a hugely rewarding career focused on helping people manage conditions and live well whether they be small children or older adults. This fantastic programme in Northamptonshire is being delivered in partnership with Health Education England and NHS England. It will give you a unique opportunity to accelerate your learning in this field by offering a salaried position as a practice nurse alongside an excellent package of development and support.

We are looking for qualified (or soon to be) nurses to join this dynamic and forward thinking programme. We are offering ten salaried positions in our partner practices across the county. The programme includes practical on the job learning in our training practices and a structured training course with De Montfort University covering a variety of core skills for practice nursing such as Cytology, Diabetes management, Asthma and Leadership for which you will be released for one day a week to study towards.

By the end of the nine months this accelerated development programme will ensure you have the skills, knowledge and experience to launch your rewarding career in general practice.
