An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic senior pharmacist to work in an outstanding community provider to be the clinical service and governance lead for medicines management. The successful candidate will support one of our key partners – Alliance for Better Care Ltd GP Federation with subject matter expertise, advice and support on the development and integration of PCN pharmacists.

You will be responsible for managing and leading the medicines management function working closely with colleagues across the operational and corporate functions and providing professional advice to the primary care networks.

We are looking for a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic pharmacist who can provide inspirational leadership across a range of departments and systems to ensure medicines optimisation and safe medicines practice.

You will need to be a non-medical prescriber, a registered pharmacist with at least four years of experience in pharmacy and hold a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy (or equivalent). You will work in an exceptionally friendly clinically-led organisation, genuinely patient centric and encouraging innovation that results in real improvements in quality improvements and positive patient experience.




Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (formerly a Work Permit)

Recruitment and Retention Premium

Recruitment and Retention Premium applies to the following posts:

Health Visitors, Paediatric Therapists, Ward based Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Audiologists, Continence Nurses, Identified areas for Band 5 & 6 Staff Nurses and District Nurses.

Successful applicants within the staff groups above will receive -

  • £1000 upon commencement (payable in your first months’ salary) then;

  • £1000 after 6 months service subject to satisfactory completion of your probationary period.
