An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Moorfields Eye Hospital Service Improvement and Sustainability team to perform a wide range of administrative procedures. They will deliver an effective and competent level of administrative support and will consistently provide a pro-active and forward thinking administrative service.

Duties will include updating and maintaining electronic diaries, preparation and co-ordination of papers, arranging meetings, taking minutes at meetings and use of the Trusts project management software, PM3. The post holder will be computer literate, and competent with all Microsoft packages.

 

Working in the Programme Management Office as part of a team, covering both sites, they will perform work activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and liaise with their manager and other senior staff in forward planning.

 

This is an opportunity for someone who is looking to further development their project management skills. The work will be varied, challenging, interesting and involve working and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful applicant will also be fully supported to gain an accredited qualification through a Business Administration Apprenticeship alongside their job role.

 

The successful candidate needs to have a flexible approach to work with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

On completion of your apprenticeship post you will be automatically offered a permanent position providing you have completed your apprenticeship programme and have not been managed under capability or sickness processes.
