Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust
£51,383 - £57,596 p.a inc. HCA.

The commitment of our 17,100 staff is key to our success. We are one of the largest local employers and we aim to develop and support all our staff so they are able to deliver high quality, safe and efficient care. The 2018 NHS staff survey results show that we have one of the most engaged and motivated workforces in the NHS. We know this has a positive impact on the care provided to our patients.

St John’s Institute of Dermatology within Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust are looking to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the medical dermatology team to support the growing demand of activity within the organisation and the local sector and to help innovate new and transformational pathways to support our local and tertiary patients.

The post holder will work with the Matron, service leads and management team to develop and deliver services and support nursing workforce development in line with strategy. The post holder will provide supervisory support to a team of Clinical Nurse Specialists and will deputise for the Nurse Consultant in her absence, providing clinical leadership and expertise to our day centre.

The post holder will need to be flexible and adaptable to the rapidly changing needs of the service in line with local & national priorities, whilst maintaining a consistently excellent service that puts the patients first.

The post holder will be an excellent communicator and understand the complexities of organisational change across boundaries. They will have a proven track record of delivering sustained quality improvement projects.
