We are seeking a Registered nurse who enjoys working with children and their families to join our outstanding 0-19 public health nursing service (Health visiting and School nursing integrated team) in Surrey Heath.

These are exciting times for our 0-19 Service and we want you to be part of it. If you are a Registered Nurse (NMC) and looking to join a thriving, innovative service which puts children, young people and their families at the centre of all that they do, then this is definitely the job for you so look no further.

We have changed the way we deliver services welcoming innovation to meet the needs of children and families. We introduced video appointments to offer an alternative method to meet with our families and young people as well as delivering virtual webinars and workshops. All of which have been rolled out across Surrey to make our services accessible by all as part of our countywide digital offer.

We are looking for someone with an inspirational and motivational personality and someone who is highly skilled in communication, with a strong approach to teamwork. The individual will be someone who is able to deliver appropriately delegated commissioned elements of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) (DH 2009) as a member of the 0-19 public health nursing service.

Working as a team player, your role will include identifying health needs with children and families and in agreement with the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN), plan, deliver and review appropriate and evidence based interventions to improve outcomes for children and families.

Whether you are an experienced staff nurse ready for a new direction, newly qualified or about to qualify, we will ensure you receive individualised and effective support from both your health visiting line manager and colleagues within your team.

Where the role will be based:

If successful your base will be Berkshire Road Clinic, Surrey Heath, however your role will require you to visit homes and centres across North West Quadrant.
