Band 3 Children’s Community Carer

Are you a night owl who has a passion for supporting children with additional health needs? Have you previously worked with children in a health, educational or social care setting?

An exciting opportunity to work with children with additional health needs including tracheostomies and ventilators in the community has arisen.

Your role will be to provide clinical care to ensure the child’s safety during a 9 hour night shift. As we are a Surrey-wide service you will need access to a car with business insurance to travel to the children’s homes anywhere within the county.

On occasion we may also have opportunities for limited day hours across split shifts as well – please ask on applying.

Previous experience is desirable however not essential as full competency training is provided;your induction training will be between 3-6 months supporting you to achieve lone working in the child’s home. Training will consist of mandatory training including clinical competencies, Care Certificate and shadowing experienced staff.

There are opportunities for career progression as you develop your skills.
