Administration Assistant (Catering)

South Tynesidecatering Department require a Band 2 Admin Assistant to work 25 hours per week between 10.00 to 15.00 Monday to Friday. There will be a requirement for the post holder to be flexible and provide cover 0800 - 1500, including weekends when necessary.

The Admin Assistants role is vital to the day to day running of catering. Accurate patient menu data collation is essential. Placing food orders and maintaining financial information is also essential.

Hours of work may vary, from time to time. There is an expectation for the successful candidate to cover weekends during periods of holiday.

Main duties of the job

Complete administration tasks in Catering:

Compile patient menu data, special diet data

Tabulate patient meal numbers

Complete financial reports

Place and generate orders

Compile ad-hoc meal/food items

Maintain stock sheets and

Maintain admin stock (pens, paper, toner etc)

Take meeting minutes Organise meetings and maintain meeting diary and Function Suite bookings
