Main duties of the job
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests, abilities, and cultural backgrounds of the residents. This includes organizing group activities, individual pursuits, and outings to help residents maintain their hobbies, try new things, and socialize with others. You will work closely with the Home Manager and the wider community team to ensure that residents are valued, respected, and offered personalized care. The role also involves assisting with fundraising initiatives and budgeting for entertainment, materials, and outings, demonstrating your creativity and problem-solving skills. You will need to be flexible, adaptable, and have a warm, engaging personality to thrive in this position.
