Job summary

This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant or a Care Assistant looking to progress their career to join the supportive and inclusive community within Akari Care homes. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents, observing and reviewing care plans, assisting with social activities, and supporting the training and supervision of junior colleagues.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will work alongside the care assistants to deliver the highest quality of care to our residents. This includes observing, reviewing, and finalizing care planning needs, assisting and producing ideas for social activities, and supporting the training and supervision of junior and new colleagues in an Akari value-driven way. You will be expected to create an environment where the atmosphere feels like the residents' personal home, catering to their individual needs and those of their visiting family members.
