The Activities Co-Ordinator role is responsible for engaging residents in a variety of activities that cater to their diverse interests, abilities, and cultural backgrounds, promoting social interaction, stimulation, and an enriched quality of life.
Main duties of the job
The Activities Co-Ordinator will be responsible for planning and implementing a diverse range of activities for the residents, including both individual and group programs. They will work closely with the Home Manager and the wider care team to ensure that the activities meet the needs and preferences of the residents. The role also involves accompanying residents on offsite activities, organizing fundraising initiatives, and managing the budget for entertainment, materials, and outings. The successful candidate will demonstrate a caring nature, flexibility, and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and engaging persona.
